SWISSWATER attended the Eco Forum Global in Guiyang, China. This forum has become an important international meeting place of politicians and scientists. SWISSWATER's Reto v. Schulthess gave two lectures on the subject of Lake Restoration and Public Private Partnership. Thomas Wagner of SWISSWATER and National Council President Christa Markwalder gave a lecture on environmental policy. Our involvement in the event was associated with a contract in Guizhou Province, where SWISSWATER will show what can be done for effective water protection.

Employees from SWISSWATER, together with Kezhen Cao and Thomas Wagner, have completed a successful mission to China. On the occasion of the Festival of Springs in the city of Jinan, Reto v. Schulthess and Rouven Künze held lectures on the subject of wastewater treatment and groundwater management. Subsequently, the ongoing projects and the next steps for 2019 were discussed in Jinan and Nanchang. Two contracts were signed in Nanchang, securing further cooperation for the coming years. The focus is on consulting in the areas of sewerage planning and wastewater treatment.
